Privacy Policy

Prmo respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what your rights are.

What we collect

On your device (never leaves your device):

• Your tasks, focus session logs, app-blocking selections, and timer state.
• Your personal display name set in Settings.

On our servers (Supabase), only if you sign in:

• Your email address (used solely for authentication).
• Your chosen @handle and display name.
• Your daily focus minutes total.
• Your friend list (who you've added, who's added you, pending requests).
• Achievements you've unlocked.
• Your best focus streak.
• Current session state (focus / lock-in / none) — only while a session is active.
• If you report another user: the reported user, your chosen reason, and any details you provide.
• If you block another user: the pair of user IDs and a timestamp.

What we do not collect

• The contents of your tasks (titles, due dates) — these stay on your device.
• The specific apps you've selected to block — iOS Family Controls keeps this opaque, even to us.
• Any tracking identifiers, advertising IDs, or analytics on your behavior.
• Your location.

Third-party services

• Supabase (database, authentication, realtime) — see Supabase's privacy policy.
• Apple Sign-In — if you choose this method, Apple may share your email (or a relay email) with us.
• Google OAuth — if you choose this method, Google shares your email and basic profile info with us. See Google's privacy policy.
• Apple Push Notification Service — for session-end and daily-reminder notifications.
• Anthropic — only if you enable AI features (off by default). See Anthropic's privacy policy.

We do not use third-party analytics, advertising networks, or trackers.

AI Features (optional)

If you enable AI features (off by default), Prmo sends data to our AI provider, Anthropic, for two things: (1) weekly insights — a summary of your focus activity (minutes by day and hour, your streak, daily-goal completion, and the titles of your top tasks); and (2) the Plan-with-AI task assistant — any text you type into the planner to generate task suggestions. We do not send this data unless you turn the feature on, and you can turn it off at any time in Settings. Anthropic does not use this data to train its models; it may retain inputs for a limited period for abuse monitoring. We do not store your task titles on our servers in connection with this feature beyond the generated insight.

Your rights

• Delete your account: Go to Settings → Delete account. This wipes all your data from our servers, including profile, achievements, friendships, daily totals, blocks, and friend requests.
• Block any user: Open their profile in the friends list → Block. They will not be able to find or contact you.
• Report any user: Open their profile → Report. We review reports within 24 hours and may suspend accounts that violate our terms.
• Contact us: Email support@prmo.fyi for any questions, data requests, or to report a problem.

Children

Prmo is designed for users 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Data retention

• Account data is kept while your account is active.
• When you delete your account, your data is permanently removed within 30 days (some logs may persist briefly in encrypted backups).
• User reports you submit are retained for moderation purposes; the reporter's identity is preserved unless the reporter's account is deleted, in which case the reporter ID is nulled.

International users

Prmo is operated from Switzerland. By using Prmo, you consent to your data being processed in countries where Supabase operates infrastructure (primarily the US and EU).

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified in the app. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
