Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-06-02

By using Prmo ("the app", "we", "us"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

What Prmo is

Prmo is a focus timer with a social layer. It lets you run focus and lock-in sessions, optionally blocks selected apps via iOS Family Controls, and lets you share daily focus minutes with friends you connect with.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Prmo.

Your account

When you sign in, you choose a unique @handle and display name. You're responsible for keeping these appropriate and for any activity under your account.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account. This permanently removes your data from our servers (see the Privacy Policy for specifics).

Lock-in mode

Lock-in mode intentionally restricts your ability to pause or stop a focus session, and blocks selected apps for the duration. Once started, the only way to end a Lock-in before its timer expires is to uninstall Prmo, which removes the iOS Managed Settings store and lifts the block. Force-quitting Prmo does not lift the block.

You acknowledge that Lock-in is a deliberate commitment device and that we cannot intervene once a session is running.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.

User reports and moderation

If another user violates these rules, you can report them through their profile in the friends list. We review reports within 24 hours and may take action including warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent account deletion.

You can also block any user — they will no longer be able to find you in search, send you friend requests, or see your activity. Blocking is one-directional and silent (the blocked user is not notified).

Friends and visibility

When you accept a friend request, you and that user can see each other's:

Your tasks, session notes, and app-blocking selections are never shared.

Service availability

Prmo is provided "as is". We aim for high availability but make no guarantees. The friends feature depends on Supabase infrastructure and may be unavailable from time to time.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Prmo, including but not limited to lost productivity, missed deadlines, or any consequence of Lock-in mode.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in the app. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland.
